Prayer meetings are the power house of the Church. Jesus said: "Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.” (John 15:4) The early church gathered regularly together for times for prayer and fasting. Great shakings and moves of God followed after their prayer sessions.
